CompuPawn allows for the assignment of approval codes that limit the access to any function depending upon the approval code used to access the function. Additionally, CompuPawn provides for employee codes that can be input for both the “Maker” and the “Typist” of a transaction that allows management to track the use of the maker and typist numbers.
The Security & Passwords Module provides additional security features, over and above the approval codes and employee codes, by allowing you to assign passwords that limit which Menu selections and Option Line Commands are accessible. This allows the Menus and functions of CompuPawn to be tailored to the specific password used to gain access to the software.
For example, you may assign a management password that allows complete access to all of the Menus and Option Line Commands. However, other passwords may be assigned that do not allow access to Menu functions or Option Line Commands that allow editing of the customer, transaction or inventory records. The individual security levels that may be assigned to the Menu selections and Option Line Commands through the use of the Security and Passwords Module are 1) full access, 2) editing capability only, or 3) access denied.
