DOUGLAS (DOC) MATTHEWS Manager and Senior Support Engineer Mr. Matthews brings a mechanical and logical approach to all aspects of the industry. Mr. Matthew’s management specialties include all hardware and operating system level support for CompuPawn. His exception skills are crucial to the infrastructure and backbone of the ePawn system. He is particularly adept at solving problems by breaking them down to the smallest parts and tracking out the possibilities to identify and address the cause at its root. Mr. Matthews manages all aspects of the ePawn infrastructure from routers, failover technologies, systems design, and network design. His responsibilities include the management of the ePawn infrastructure at the Terramark hosting facility in Miami where all ePawn infrastructure is housed. Though Mr. Matthews is the in-house telecommunications and cabling "guru", he also is well versed in all aspects of the developed software program and frequently travels to various client sites to supervise installations and training of the CompuPawn product. He earned, with honors, a vocational degree in Electronic Technology from Seminole Community College in 1992. Prior to joining VCS, he held a high-level technical position at TicketMaster from 1992 to 1994 where his responsibilities encompassed management of all maintenance and support of their Wide Area Network, Point of sale terminals, and other infrastructure.
